Kista , Sweden (April 21, 2004) TagMaster AB and HID have entered into an agreement that enables TagMaster to integrate HID's proximity technology into TagMaster products under HID's ePROX (embedded proximity) partner program. The objective of the agreement is to provide integrated solutions for personal and vehicle access control. The first product developed under this program will be launched shortly.
"The relationship with HID makes a lot of sense to both parties, since it combines the world's most popular proximity technology with the world's most advanced Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) system", said Magnus Rehn, President, TagMaster. "This strong combination allows us to provide the complete and integrated access solutions that the market is asking for."
"Equipping the TagMaster range of AVI Tags with HID 125 kHz proximity technology provides customers with access to greatly enhanced security", said Brian Blackmore, Business Development Manager, HID. "In addition, users are able to mix and match a variety of applications including access control, automated parking and more.
