Your responsibilities

The Software Engineer within IAI is responsible for the architecture, design and development of software in our personalization machines. The Software Engineer works in multidisciplinary teams to meet the challenging and continuously changing customer requirements. You determine the system architecture for new machines. You propose and realize new technologies, innovations and possibilities for improvement. The Software Engineer analyses and solves reported failures on delivered machines. You assist our Assembly & Test and Service Engineers in terms of software related issues for the improvement of technology and service for our customers. You report to the Team Leader Engineering CPI.


What we expect

We are searching for various levels of seniority. Seniors should have experience in developing software for complex machinery. We expect you to be familiar with the concepts of state machines, control flow, threading, (unit) testing, real-time programming, WPF and MVVM. Seniors should be able to write code in C# and C and develop for the Windows Platform and the B&R PLC platform or equivalent. Experience with Python and understanding of Agile and Scrum are a plus. You must be able to communicate with Mechanical, Electrical and Development Engineers. Starting Software professional are expected to have some experience with C#, affinity with machine building and a great extent of enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English is required and additional languages are desired. Since this position might include (international) travel and fieldwork, you must possess or can acquire a valid passport. You are located in the Netherlands.
